Founded in 1959, False Bay Surf Lifesaving Club is one of South Africa’s pioneering lifesaving clubs, with a rich history and strong membership.

We train lifeguards, and do active voluntary lifeguard duty on Sunrise Beach, Muizenberg, Cape Town, preventing drowning incidents while the public enjoy the beach.
