We operate voluntary lifeguard duty from our Clubhouse on Sunrise Beach, Muizenberg throughout the warmer summer months (October to November), were we watch over the public beachusers and make sure they are water safe while enjoying their time at the beach.

We traditionally run 3 voluntary lifeguard squads, which rotate around weekends, with a typical squad size of 15 members strong, lead by experienced Squad Leaders, with members ranging in skill level, ability and diversity.
Members are encouraged to achieve a minimum of 30 voluntary hours each season to stay active with the Club.
